Overview:
What is schoology? It is a learning management system (LMS) that will allow you to create and manage academic courses for your students that will communicate directly with Powerschool. This program provides a method of organizing/managing content and lessons, sharing content with colleagues, managing grades and engaging students. During this virtual workshop, you will be introduced to the features and the grading opportunities, as well as Notability -an app that directly communicates with Schoology.

You will be able to choose two learning experiences based upon your needs (one from each session):

Session 1 (30 minutes):

An introduction to the basic features of Schoology with Chelsea Cheney. You will be shown how to navigate this Learning Management System and create learning materials for your students.

Schoology, grading, and the link to PowerSchool with Penny Tozier. You will be shown how to set up the grading connection to PowerSchool, bulk editing, grading and syncing to PowerSchool.

Notability with Lisa Gordon. You will be shown how students can send assignments, notes, and pdfs to Notability; organizing tools within notability for students; using Notability to complete the learning experience and return it to the LMS you are using.

Session 2 (30 minutes):
