Participants will understand how the Marzano Teacher Evaluation Model supports teacher growth through feedback and will be able to utilize the Marzano protocol to capture instructional evidence and provide growth and feedback.

Participants will:

1. Understand the need for and strength in a common language of instruction.
2. Understand the purpose and components of the Marzano Protocols for Observation and how protocols are used to provide feedback to teachers.
3. Understand intentional daily lesson planning and how lesson planning includes planning for dominant elements and their related desired effects.
4. Describe the continuous improvement cycle for planning.
