Empower Admin Training

Empower Admin Training, Dec. 10, 2017 at UMPI (NMEC)

Registration: 8:00-8:30 am
Workshop: 8:30-11:30 am

The target audience for this workshop include individuals who manage Empower at the building and district level as well as building and district administrators. E- Admin will learn how to navigate the tools within the program to manage the site and building administrators will learn how to navigate the site from a different lens than a teacher/e-admin to identify curricular needs. The following items will be covered in detail:

  • Creating & Editing Curriculum Standards
  • How to Manage and Customize the Empower Site
  • Manage teachers, staff, students and parent accounts
  • Auto-promoting & Leveling Students
  • Types of Progress Reports (Advantages & Disadvantages of Each)
  • Identifying Student Need

Note: To prepare for this workshop, there will be a virtual workshop on Monday, December 11 from 3:00 – 4:00 pm through GoTo Meeting. This is to make sure that all items are in place to run a successful meeting on the 20th. Any requests to Empower for changes will have ample time to happen between this date and the 20th.
